The AusACPDM is pleased to offer a series of awards to honour our outstanding members and contributors to society.

Nominations for the AusACPDM Awards are now closed.

Thank you to all who submitted nominations. Winners will be announced at the 12th AusACPDM conference – Respect Respond Reimagine – Cairns on Friday 2nd August 2024.

 

Award CategoriesThe Award is for:
Advocacy Achievement AwardMaking a significant contribution to advocating for people with lived experience of disability
Mentorship AwardA person who mentors others to improve services and care, promote professionalism and support ongoing education and research
Person with a Lived Experience Award – Outstanding ContributionA person with cerebral palsy or developmental disability who promotes the health and wellbeing of others
Local Hero AwardA person with cerebral palsy or developmental disability, aged from 12 years, who resides in the Cairns area
Transformative Practice AwardA clinician of any discipline who encourages evidence-based practice and translates research into practice

 

How to nominate someone? 

Send a letter (Max 400 words) outlining:

  • Which award it is that you are nominating for
  • Name of nominee
  • Nominee’s email and contact number
  • How long, and in what capacity have you known the nominee
  • Nominee’s contribution
  • Your name, email and contact number
