WHO seeking EOI’s from experts on childhood disability & obesity
The WHO are requesting expressions of interest from any experts on childhood disability and obesity, as their Nutrition Department is setting up an international expert group to develop a guideline on child and adolescent obesity, in which they would like to include the topic of disability because of its relevance and importance.
The Best Clinical Practise committee of the International Alliance of Academies of Childhood Disability (IAACD) has just completed a collaboration with the disability programme at WHO on guidelines for cerebral palsy, as part of the Package of Interventions for Rehabilitation, and based on that positive experience WHO is now asking for further collaborations.
