Study recruitment: I can set MyGOALS! Developing an online tool for child-led goal setting using user-centred design
Invitation to participate in I can set MyGOALS! Developing an online tool for child-led goal setting using user-centred design.
ARE YOU: An allied health professional clinician providing services to children (5<15 years) who have disabilities or delays?
WE WANT YOU: To take part in a pilot session for our study. We are asking allied health professionals who consent to take part to also recruit a child on their caseload who is between 5-15 years.
WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
We have co-designed a child-led goal setting app with children, parents and therapists. We now have a prototype of this app, called MyGOALS, and would like to pilot this with more children and clinicians. Clinicians and children will take part in a pilot session and practice setting goals using the app. The researcher will attend the session to observe and gather child, parent, and clinician feedback. The pilot session will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Results will be used to further improve the app, to support children to engage in goal setting for paediatric intervention.
