Participation in important research on goal directed training in occupational therapy

4th August, 2020

We are inviting Occupational Therapists who currently work with children living with cerebral palsy who provide goal directed training to them to come and speak to us about the who, what, why and how of the intervention.

Goal directed training is an evidence-based intervention used by Occupational Therapists. Whilst being extensively used in the field there is little documentation describing the who, what, why and how of the intervention. This has led to confusion in the field and no way to monitor the fidelity of the intervention. To commence the process of establishing a fidelity checklist for goal directed training we are looking for occupational therapists to have their say about the core elements of goal directed training.
