Invitation to be involved in a Delphi survey on management of respiratory illness in cerebral palsy

20th March, 2019

A Delphi Study to determine clinical guidelines for prevention and management of respiratory disease in young people with cerebral palsy

We are a multidisciplinary research group conducting a Delphi study to determine expert consensus on the best ways to prevent and treat respiratory illness in young people with CP and to then use this information to develop a clinical guideline to prevent and manage respiratory illness in young people with CP. We are using this technique due to the lack of research in the area.

If you are a clinician (medical doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, or nurse) AND you have been working in the field of cerebral palsy for at least 10 years clinical experience;
OR
if you are a researcher or academic expert who has authored at least three publications (reviews, intervention articles, or textbooks) relating to respiratory management of people with neurological problems;
then we would like to invite you as an expert to be part of the Delphi survey.
This should take about 30 minutes to complete.

If you would like more information please see the attached Information Sheet.

If you would like to be involved please email Dr Noula Gibson (Project Leader) at research@abilitycentre.com.au.
