AusACPDM Listening and Sharing session: May 2024
Cerebral Palsy Global Clinical Trials Network
Join us in our free listening and sharing session.
Wednesday 15th May 2024, 4:30pm – 5:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time
Topic information: This interactive AusACPDM Listening and Sharing session will be about:
The establishment of the Cerebral Palsy Global Clinical Trials Network, generously funded by the Elsass Foundation and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. This session will illustrate how through innovation, global collaboration and partnerships with people with cerebral palsy (CP), we aim to overcome the limitations of regular clinical trials for CP. The Network aims to improve outcomes and quality of life for those living with CP, via faster clinical trials using innovative adaptive designs, and faster translation of new treatments into usual care. We will delve into the rationale, current CP field agreement for the Network, development stages, and provide an update on the Network’s first adaptive prototype study.
This session will be of interest to clinicians, researchers, students and people with lived experience.
Speakers: Presenters include: Adjunct Associate Professor Maria McNamara, Jenna Mitchell, Karin Lind, Professor Iona Novak
The session will be facilitated by: Kirsty Stewart
