Anyone can run – listening and sharing about Frame Running (aka RaceRunning) in Australasia

Topic information: Frame Running (previously known as RaceRunning) is a new, World Para Athletics discipline for athletes with moderate to severe mobility limitations and/or high support needs. Commonly, this includes people with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, and anyone who cannot walk without support or assistive technology.
Come together to listen and share about Frame Running in Australasia, facilitated by Dr Sarah Reedman from The University of Queensland and covering topics including:
- History and current status of the discipline
- Frame Running classification
- Frame cost, sourcing, properties, attachments and set-up
- Basic coaching and safety principles
- Promoting sustainable participation in Frame Running (how, where, when)
The aim of our AusACPDM Listening and sharing sessions are to share knowledge, experiences and learnings. These will be held via zoom, and will be open to everyone (but registration numbers are limited!). Recordings of some of our sessions will be made available within the members only section of the AusACPDM website at a later date.
