Abstract Submission
LATE BREAKING ABSTRACTS NOW CLOSED
The Committee thanks all who submitted a Late Breaking Abstract. Please be advised that the submission of abstracts is now closed, as of Wednesday 8 January 2020.
All late breaking abstracts that were submitted will be considered for inclusion in the program based on the same themes as the main abstract submission, and will be available for both Paper (Podium) Presentation and Poster Presentations as per the guidelines below. There are no options for late breaking workshops or breakfasts as these sessions have all been filled.
Please note any abstracts selected for late breaking will not be included in the DMCN supplement provided at the Conference.

SUBMISSIONS CLOSED – LATE BREAKING – Paper Presentation (podium presentation) is a 10-minute (including Q&A) oral presentation in English. One digital projector, laptop computer, and one large screen will be provided. If you would like to include a video, embedding the video into the presentation is the preference.
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED LATE BREAKING – Scientific Posters display your work in a concise form, enabling Conference attendees to grasp the essentials of the subject in a reasonable time frame. Scientific posters are prepared in English, and displayed in a paper poster format. An electronic version of each poster will also be required as delegates will receive a link to an electronic copy of all posters, and will be able to view the posters post event.
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED – Workshops (interactive presentations) are 90-minutes in length, providing formal but interactive instruction for continuing professional education, presenting an update on a theme/ area of clinical research and its clinical implications or presenting/ justifying/ training in a group of therapies (offering different constructs or methods). One digital projector, and one large screen will be provided. Other equipment must be requested individually. An embedded video is the preferred method for showing video clips. Interactive activities are preferred by Conference delegates and reflect best-available knowledge translation evidence for teaching. Workshops are to be presented in English.
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED – Breakfast Sessions (instructional courses) are 45-60 minutes in length, providing formal instruction for continuing professional education, presenting an update on a theme/ area of clinical research and its clinical implications or presenting/ justifying/ training in a group of therapies (offering different constructs or methods). One digital projector, laptop computer, and one large screen will be provided. Other equipment must be requested individually. An embedded video is the preferred method for showing video clips. Breakfast sessions are to be presented in English.
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED – PhD Platform The opportunity to present a PhD Platform presentation will be awarded to the AusACPDM member/s considered the most meritorious PhD candidates.
To be eligible to present a PhD Platform at the 2020 AusACPDM Conference, PhD candidates must:
- Be a member of the AusACPDM
- Submit proof of PhD completion within 2 years of the abstract submission closing date.
- Include a full Academic CV
- Complete the PhD Platform nomination form
