The PREMTiME Study – implications for early targeted surveillance of very preterm infants

Join us in our free listening and sharing session.
28th May 2054, 4:30pm – 5:30pm Australian Eastern Savings time
Topic information: The PREMTiME study is a collaboration between the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and the University of Queensland that aims to deliver family centred, cost effective and clinically efficient follow-up services for very preterm born and very low birthweight infants. Outcomes of the first phase of the study identified new biomarkers that may help clinicians make very early and accurate predictions about outcomes in children who are born very preterm or with very low birthweight. This session is relevant for families with children impacted by preterm birth and health care professionals working in acute neonatal developmental care and neonatal neurodevelopmental follow up services.
Speaker: Dr Rebecca Caesar, PhD (Clinical Lead Paediatric Physiotherapy, Women’s and Children’s Service, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service)
